Your data stays yours.

What we collect, why, where it lives and how to make us delete it. Written to be read, not filed.

Who we are

DryDock Partners Ltd (company number 17457723), a company registered in England and Wales, registered with the Information Commissioner's Office. We are the data controller for the information described here. Contact: partners@drydock.partners.

What we collect

Only what you give us. Our forms ask for your name, firm or agency, role, work email, home market, a revenue band where relevant, and a description of your situation. We do not buy lists, and we do not enrich your record from other sources.

Why we collect it

To respond to your fit-call request, to assess a request for access to the Indie Media Fund, and — only if you asked for it — to send you what we publish. Every use rests on your consent or on our legitimate interest in answering an enquiry you made. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Where it lives

Form submissions are delivered by email to the partners' Microsoft 365 mailbox and are not stored on the website's server; the delivery service (Resend, EU region) keeps only transmission logs. Engagement data lives on servers in the United Kingdom and the European Union. Client engagement data is ring-fenced per engagement, is never pooled, and is never used to train models. Access is limited to the three partners and the systems that support them.

Analytics

We count visits with Google Analytics 4. It sets first-party cookies on your device (named _ga and _ga_…) that recognise your browser on return visits for up to two years, and it records the pages you read, your approximate location by country and city, and your device type. Google does not store IP addresses. Google Signals and all advertising features are switched off: no advertising trackers, no cross-site profiling, no fingerprinting. You can block these cookies in your browser settings without losing any part of this site. We also count page views with a cookieless counter (Sillcount, operated by Consenture): it sends the page path, the referring page and your window width, sets nothing on your device, and stays silent when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.

Your rights

  • Access to the data we hold about you, and a copy of it.
  • Rectification of anything inaccurate.
  • Erasure — write to us and we delete, unless a legal duty requires otherwise.
  • Portability, restriction and objection, where the law provides them.
  • A complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office if you believe we have got something wrong.

Retention

Enquiries we do not take forward are deleted within twelve months. Engagement records are kept for the period our professional and legal duties require, then destroyed.
